Tom Memmott
1933~2014


Tom Memmott, age 80, passed away July 21, 2014 at his home in Nephi, Utah.
He was born August 9, 1933 in Levan, Utah to James Arthur and Vinnie Elizabeth Angell Memmott. He married Anna Marie Beck July 16, 1960 in Spring City, Utah. The marriage was later solemnized in the Manti Temple.
He attended Juab High School and joined the US Navy in 1951 and served for 4 years. He was a member of the American Legion Post 1. He was an active member of the LDS church and served in many callings. He worked for the Nephi Rubber Plant for 45 years. He worked security at IPP. He loved hunting and camping. His greatest joy in life was his family and everyone was family to him.
He is survived by his wife, Marie of Nephi; children, James Earl (Janice) of Mesquite, Nevada; Tammy Lynn (Dennis) Kerhoff of Provo, Utah; Mark Alan Memmott of Nephi, Utah; 2 grandchildren, Joshua and Michael Kerhoff and 1 great granddaughter, Jayelle Pearson; brothers, Dan Memmott of Nephi; Pete Memmott of St. George; Hela Memmott of Oklahoma; sister, Ethel ?Kitty? Cole of Winchester, Kentucky. Preceded in death by brothers David June Memmott and James Arthur Memmott; sisters, Vinnie May Robison and Rose Memmott.
Funeral services will be held at 11 am Friday, July 25, 2014 in the Nephi 8th Ward, 222 South 100 East. Family and friends may call from 9:30 till 10:45 prior to the services at the church. Interment will be in the Nephi Vine Bluff Cemetery. andersonfh1866.com


Robert G. Paxman
1959 ~ 2014


Robert George Paxman, age 54, peacefully returned to his Heavenly Father on July 16, 2014 at his home in Springville, Utah. Robert was surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Nephi, Utah on September 1, 1959 to George William and Norma Betty Andersen Paxman. Robert married his eternal sweetheart, Salee Robbins, on February 4, 1983 in the Jordan River Temple and together they had four children.
Robert grew up in Nephi, Utah and graduated from Juab High School and Snow College with a degree in Computer Science. Robert had a curious mind and had to know how things worked. He was always takings things apart. Robert owned and operated Roflix, a computer repair business. He was blessed to work at BYU with amazing co-workers and Brothers in the gospel. He treasured his time there.
Robert served a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Australia where he learned to love the people there and took many great attributes home from his mission. Robert served faithfully in many callings, his favorite ones being with the Young Men canoeing down the Colorado River, hiking Angels Landing, or cooking Dutch Oven for them. He loved the Bible, especially the Old Testament and was able to make the book come to life in his many classes as a teacher for Gospel Doctrine, Elders Quorum, or High Priests. He was blessed to visit Israel where he was able to walk where Jesus walked and see the many places spoken of in the Bible.
Robert never missed an opportunity to tell his family that he loved them and that he was happy they were in the family. He is survived by his loving wife, Salee; his children, Rachel Paxman, James (Sarah) Paxman, Diana (James) Schelin, and David Paxman; his granddaughters, Nevaeh and Alice; his parents, George William and Janet Paxman; his sisters, Barbara (Steve) Hannett, Connie (Shawn) Hannett, Andrea (Kenneth) Kay, Valerie Belknap, and his brother Jack Paxman; his step-sisters, Debbie (Larry) Fleenor, Lily (Scott) Houtz, and step-brother Dan Jenkins. He was preceded in death by his loving grandparents, mother, and his brother David.
Funeral services were held Monday, July 21, 2014 in Springville, Utah. Interment in the Vine Bluff Cemetery in Nephi, Utah.


Cora L. Hachey
July 12, 1925 -July 7, 2014


Mrs. Cora "Corky" Hachey, age 88, of Jonesboro passed away July 7, 2014. Surviving are her husband, Gerald J. Hachey, children, Richard L. Elmgreen of Meansville, GA, Roger L. Elmgreen and wife Cynthia of McDonough, Ron Elmgreen and wife Candy of Wonder Lake, IL, Randy Elmgreen and wife Rose of Sweetwater, TN, and Roxanne Lunger and husband Gene of Everett, PA, step-children, Joy Laver and husband Tom, Bruce Hachey and Wendy Hachey all of Venice, FL, Glen Hachey of Wauconda, IL and Heather Meyer of Palm Harbor, FL, brother, Lauren Clark and wife Linda of Nephi, Utah, several grandchildren, several great-grandchildren and several great-great grandchildren. A memorial service was held Saturday, July 19, 2014.
