Come and celebrate Levan Heritage Days on Thursday, July 24 at the Levan Town Park. The schedule for the day is as follows:
6:00 a.m.—5K Run (contact Jilean Ercanbrack at 660-6425 for more information
7:30 a.m.—Flag Ceremony at the church
Introduction of the grand marshal, Marilyn Worwood, followed by a program from her family
National Anthem
Prayer
8:00 a.m.—Fresh hot breakfast, $4.00 a plate
8:30 to 9:45—Bake sale, south side of church, donations accepted until 8:00 a.m.
10:00 a.m.—Children's Parade, line up starts at 9:45--no route changes
At the Park
11:00 a.m.—Craft and vendor fair opens
12:00 noon—Greased pig chase
1:00 p.m.—Children's games, 12 and under
Bounce houses, BB gun shoot, dodge ball, Bingo--all ages, trap shoot by arena
2:30 p.m.—Pie eating contest, first come basis for participants
4:00 p.m.—Talent Show
6:00 p.m.— Dinner, Adults--$6.00 a plate; Children--$5.00 a plate. Discounted meal tickets are available from Tyra Jackman or at Levan Town Hall
7:00 to 9:00 p.m.—Entertainment
10:00 p.m.—Fireworks!
