The world's loss is heaven's gain. On July 12, 2012, Roland left his worldly home, and has gone ahead to prepare an eternal home for his wife, the keeper of his heart.
Roland was born on August 22, 1933 in Salt Lake City, UT to Marlin and Shila Larsen.. While participating in the construction of the Flaming Gorge Dam, Roland met, and on May 5, 1962 (sealed 1966) married the recipient of his undying love, Carla Holfeltz Larsen.
Roland worked as a machinist for most of his life, and was employed by St. Regis, Vredenberg, and Val's among others.
