The Lady Wasps took home the Region 12 trophy for the third year in a row on May 3rd at Cedar Ridge Golf Course. The weather was perfect, and it was a great day for golf. The girls’ team yearly combined score was 1,080. The girls led the other region teams by 139 points. The team played 18 holes with the stableford score. Scoring for the Wasps were McKaizlee Cowan with 85 points, Taya Jones with 74 points, Megan Welburn with 63 points, Lindsey Reynolds with 57 points. Also participating were: Bayli Heap, Katja Braden, Katie Welburn, Gracie Thomas and Haleigh Everitt. The girls will play in the state tournament on May 17-18th at Sleepy Ridge Golf Course in Orem.
