TRAFFIC BACKUP ON I-15 • This UDOT project on I-15 North of Nephi played havoc with traffic on Sunday as thousands of cars tried to get back to nothern Utah. Channel 2 reported that travel time from St. George to Salt Lake was around 6.5 hours. As a Main Street home owner, I haven’t seen that much traffic at 9:30 p.m. since Main was the route to LA in the 70’s. Reports were that the traffic was backed to Mills.
3A SOUTH REGION CO-CHAMPIONS • The JHS football team was crowned 3A Region Co-Champions along with Summit Academy and Juan Diego Catholic HS. After a coin toss to determine seeding, the Wasps came up victorious and chose the 2nd seed. They enjoyed a BYE in the first round, and they will take on the Union Cougars this Friday, October 27 at home at 5:00 pm in the quarterfinals. Photo courtesy of Camie Allsen
