COOL SALT CREEK • The much diminished Salt Creek meanders under the road bridge in Salt Creek Canyon. The creek is usually down by Labor Day weekend but with the lack of rain this year, is way down and the farmers are feeling the pinch. The weather man is calling for afternoon showers for today, Thursday, and Friday but is saying that the Labor Day weekend will be nice, but cool.
