entities to their employees. We do not judge whether these
wages are to high or to low, we leave that up to you the
reader. This week we examine the wages of Mona town. This
concludes this series. We plan to do this every
year.

Mona Town Council earnings for the elected positions were
recently increased.
Mayor Bryce Lynn now is paid $85 per month. In addition,
he receives, as compensation, his monthly culinary water
minimum which is $19 and his monthly garbage fee minimum
which is $12.
Council members, Doran Kay, Darlene Fowkes, Rick Schnurr,
and Glenda Buchanan, all receive $70 per month, the monthly
water minimum of $19 and the monthly garbage minimum of
$12.
The secretary/treasurer is paid $480 bi-weekly for
part-time work and the assistant secretary/treasurer is paid
$8.50 per hour.
The town clerk earns $9 per hour.
The park superintendent and cemetery sexton earns $475
per month as a part-time employee.
The animal control officer earns $200 per month.
The natural gas fuel meter reader is paid $175 per month
and receives an extra $20 per month per shut off. The water
meter reader, the same person as the gas meter reader, is
paid $175 per month four times a year, since culinary water
meters are not read during the winter.
The town water master is paid $75 per month and receives
$10 per hour for extra hours worked.
The town planning and zoning secretary is paid $8 per
hour.
The natural gas master is paid $15 per line to locate and
$20 per meter set.
