Roy Tolley
1938 ~ 2015

Edgar LeRoy Tolley lost his short, but hard-fought battle with lung cancer February 27, 2015.  He was born October 2, 1938 to Frank LeRoy and Lillian Lamone Hill Tolley.  He was welcomed by two sisters, Norlene and Lucille.  He married Iris Phillips June 18, 1960 and they had two daughters, Gina and Selena.  They later divorced.
Roy loved the outdoors and riding his horse, mule and four wheeler.  There wasn't a place, mountain or desert that he didn't explore, always on the lookout for arrowheads to add to his extensive collection.  He loved yard sales and country antiques.  He was also an avid PBR fan.
Dad had a huge heart and was always serving others.  He was supportive to his grandchildren in their individual activities.  He had many cherished friends, including his dog Butch.  He was a member of the Nephi Nebo Posse, served on the Ute Stampede Committee and was Grand Marshall of the Ute Stampede parade in 1993.  He was a member of the Utah National Guard.  He retired from Nephi City Water Department after many years of service.
Roy is survived by his daughters, Gina (Nate) Taylor and Selena (Kenyon) Carter; grandchildren, Dusty, Meagan, Myranda, Bodie, Travis, Zack and Sadie; and great grandchildren, Sophie, Gray, Blakely, Hadley and Emrie.  He is also survived by his lifetime partner and friend, Peggy Wankier and her children and grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by his parents and sisters.  Dad, you will be missed by many.
We express our thanks to Central Valley Hospice for their loving care.
