Nephi City now has a working website.
Ryan Hendricks, a summer intern working for the city, has constructed the new site which is now up and running, said Randy McKnight, city administrator.
“He has requested ideas from our various departments to be included on the website,” said McKnight.
The site can be accessed at: www.nephi.utah.gov.
One of the aspects of the site is that it will allow library patrons access to new book lists, library policies, events and more.
Library patrons should go the Nephi site and then click on Nephi Public Library.
The library card catalog will be added.
“Patrons will be able to renew and reserve books and check to see if the book the patron wants is available,” said McKnight.
Currently listed on the site are upcoming events such as the Christmas Light Parade and the Christmas Festival.
A weather posting is also available as is a brief history of Nephi.
In addition to the library posting, other bulletins that can be clicked on to provide further information are: Events, Recreation, City Information, Links, and a Contact Us ability.
The website is kept current, said McKnight, and new postings are made in a timely manner.
Under City Information, an online copy of city ordinances is available (Internet Explorer is required) and the Zoning Map is available in Adobe Acrobat format. There is a free download of Adobe Acrobat available.
