Marjorie P. Bowles
1919-2010

In loving memory of Marjorie Phillips Bowles, wife, mother, and grandmother, who passed away September 2, 2010 in Nephi, Utah, surrounded by those she loved most in the world—her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
She was born in Logan, Utah, August 6, 1919 to Spencer Euwart Huxley and Priscilla Saurey Phillips. She married W. Max Bowles in the Logan Temple and later made their home in Nephi. She was a very active lady and throughout her life was involved in many different organizations. She held various positions in the LDS church, Cub Scouts, PTA, Fair Board, 4-H, Federated Women's Club, and Garden Club. She loved life and was excited each day to wake up and tend to her beautiful flowers and watch the hummingbirds darting around the yard. She was an excellent cook, an accomplished baker, and a professional cake decorator. She found great pleasure in making hundreds of doughnuts each year at Halloween. People would stand in a line that stretched from the front porch to the road just to get one of her scrumptious homemade doughnuts. She was vibrant and fun lady.
We will miss you every day until we meet again.
She is survived by her children, Pamela Bowles, Diane Robison, Chad (Patti) Bowles, 12 grandchildren, and 31 great-grandchildren, all who thought the world of and loved her. She is preceded in death by her husband, Max Bowles and her 3 brothers, Spencer, Dean, and Blain.
In honoring her wishes, a private family service was held at the Anderson Funeral Home Saturday, September 4, 2010. Interment in the Nephi City Cemetery.
