Three cheers! The Utah State Driver License office in Nephi is back in business.
"They are open all day on Tuesdays and some on Thursdays," said Randy McKnight, city administrator.
Hours: Every Tuesday and 2nd, 4th, and 5th Thursdays from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Byron Woodland, county economic development director, said governments of the county and city were quite hopeful that the public would use the facility so that it might be considered as a possible regional facility and be opened more days.
"I have had quite a few people say they didn't know the driver's license office is open again in Nephi," said McKnight.
The Driver License, Nephi, Part Time Office is located at 1143 East Highway 132. The Mailing Address is: PO BOX 117, Nephi, UT 84648.

The following services are available: learner permits issue, driver license issue and renewal, ID card Issue.
Those needing Driver License Hearings should call: 435-283-5832.
Payment by Cash, Check, Money Order, and Credit Card accepted at this location.
All testing processes must be completed one-half hour prior to closing.
The office is closed during lunch from 12 noon to 1 p.m.
For locals the office is located in the building next to the Salt Creek Movie Theater and is just east of the Quiznos.
"The county commission worked to bring about the return of the diver license office," said Val Jones, commission chairman. "We encourage everyone to use it."
