Darlene Fausett Major Steele, age 76, passed away August 24, 2010 in Provo, Utah.
She was born August 7, 1934 in Provo, Utah, to Dean Albert and May Mulestein Fausett. She married William Byron Major October 2, 1954 in Nephi, Utah. The marriage was later solemnized in the Manti Temple. He passed away July 4, 1980. She married Art Steele in 1991.
She loved her family and she was kind and loving to everyone. She enjoyed spending as much time with her family as she could. She enjoyed painting, making porcelain dolls, and scrap booking. She was amazing in all she did. She will be greatly missed, but she is now with her true love.
She is survived by her husband, Art; children, Sherry (Don) Robinson; Byron Bruce (Cindy) Major; Cindy (Alan) Miller; Dean (Tina) Major; LaDawn (Paul) Cordner; 21 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren; brothers and sisters, Bert (Gay) Fausett; Dean Burn (Margie) Fausett; Joyce Shephard; Joy (Ken) Markham; Jack (Shelba) Fausett; Linda (Kurt) Roundy; Dan (Zola) Fausett. Preceded in death by her husband, William Byron Major; a great-grandson; parents, Dean and May Fausett; sister, Margaret Fausett.
Funeral services were held at 12 noon, Saturday, August 28, 2010, in the Nephi 1st Ward, 222 South 100 East. Interment in the Vine Bluff Cemetery, Nephi, Utah.
