THE BIG SMEAR • Third grade students at Nebo View Elementary have been learning about the sun and heat. Students have designed solar ovens for Nachoes and used heat lamps for S'mores. Savannah Peterson really ejoyed her cooking. It has been a discovery for the students to explore the sun and learn that it is not a planet, but a star, and that the sun is our main source of heat.
