This year’s Juab County Fair is themed, “Dash, Cash and Crash”, and there are many fun activities and events for you and your family to participate in.

On Saturday, Aug. 4, at 10:00 a.m., the 1st round of the Ranch Rodeo will be held. At 7:00 pm, the Ranch Rodeo main event will be held.

On Monday, Aug. 6, the Miss Juab County Scholarship pageant will be held at 7:00 p.m. at the JJHS auditorium.

On Tuesday, Aug. 7, the 4-H Horse Show begins at 10 am. The Junior Rodeo Queen contest begins at 4 pm. Roping events will start at 7 pm. Exhibits accepted in all departments from 7-9 pm, except flowers. 4-H (non-livestock) accepted Tuesday only.

On Wednesday, Aug. 8, flowers will be accepted as well as all departments from 7:30-9:00 am, except 4-H. Market hog weigh-in will be from 7:30-8:00 am. Market lamb weigh-in will be from 8:30-9:00 am. Market steer weigh-in will be from 9:30-10:30 am. Beef fitting and showmanship begins at 3:00 pm. Fair opens to the public from 4-9 pm. Western Night Rodeo begins as 6:30 pm. 4-H Fashion Revue begins at 7 pm in building #14.

On Thursday, Aug. 9, swine fitting and showmanship begins at 8:00 am. Market hog judging begins at 8:30 am. Pee wee and adult hog showmanship judging begins at 9:30 am. Sheep fitting and showmanship begins at noon. Market lamb judging begins at 12:30 pm. Pee-wee and adult showmanship judging, breeding sheep, begins at 2 pm. Market steer judging begins at 4 pm. Fair opens to the public from 4-9 pm. Toddler Tractor pull begins at 4:30 pm. Pee-wee and adult showmanship judging, breeding beef, begins at 6 pm. County Fair Ido Round 1 begins at 6 pm in building #14. Hypno Hick will entertain at 5:00 pm. Restless Heart concert will begin at 7:30 pm. Swing dance after the concert.

On Friday, Aug. 10, Round Robin at 8 am. Livestock judging contest begins at 9:30 am. Extreme Cowboy event begins at 9 am. Bunco begins at 9 in the grass area. Salsa Showdown begins at 11:30 am. Lead Line begins at 1 pm. Car Craftin Fun begins at 3 pm in the bowery. Fair opens to the public from 3-9 pm. Ribbon Read begins at 3:30 pm. Bicycle Barrel Race begins at 4 pm on the west side. Train rides are available from 4-8 pm. County Fair Idol Round 2 begins at 5 pm in building #14. Jr. Livestock Auction begins at 6 pm. Juab Jam starts at 6 pm. ATV Rodeo will begin at 7:30 pm.

On Saturday, Aug. 11, start the day with the Blue Ribbon Breakfast from 7:30-10:00 am. Registration for open horse show begins at 8 am. Registration for 3-D Archery Shoot begins at 8:30 am with the shoot starting at 9 am. Open horse show begins at 9 am. Fair opens to the public at 10:00 am. Train rides available from 10-5. Trap shoot begins at 10 am. RC Round Up begins at 11 am. Dog show will be from 11-3. County Fair Idol Final Round begins at noon in building 14. Diaper Derby begins at 1 pm. BBQ Beef Cook Off begins at 1 in the bowery. There will be a tennis tournament. Food demonstrations begin at 1:30 in the bowery. Livestock animals, small animals released to owners at 3 pm. Jr. Talent Find begins at 3:30 in building 14. All exhibits building will close at 6 pm.

The end of the fair culminates with the Demolition Derby at 6:40 pm in the fairground arena. Tickets can be purchased at juabcountyfair.com

Instawalk will take place every night of the fair.

On Monday, Aug. 13, pick up your fair exhibits from 6-8 pm, along with your premium money. On Aug. 16, all remaining premiums can be picked up at the fair office room, #111, from 2-5 pm. All premiums will be void after September 30, 2018.
