  • Miss Juab County Scholarship Pageant to be held August 6th

 

The Juab County Fair will host the Miss Juab County Scholarship Pageant on Monday, August 6, when the new Miss Juab County 2007 will be crowned. The pageant will be held in the Junior High School Auditorium at 7:00 p.m
Five contestants will vie for the title: Katelyn Peterson, daughter of Rhett and Ann Peterson. Her talent will be a piano solo. Katelyn plans to attend Weber State University to study Nursing. She would like to become a Family Nurse Practitioner. Nickelle Carter, daughter of Jeff and Kristy Carter, will display her art work for her talent.
Nickelle is an Art graduate from Utah Valley State College and currently a student at Southern Utah University majoring in Elementary Education with a minor in Fine Arts.
Shuree Fulton, daughter of Todd and Nellie Fulton will perform a dance number. Shuree plans to attend Utah Valley State College and major in Photography and Graphic Design.
Meagan Richards, daughter of Ken and Tammy Richards, will perform a vocal number. She plans to attend Southern Utah University and receive her major in Biology. After which she will pursue a career in Physical Therapy.
Crissa Whiting, daughter of Kerry Whiting and Terescia Sperry, will perform a Jazz dance. Crissa plans to attend Utah Valley State College this fall. She would like to become a Dental Hygienist.
The contestants will perform their talent, model evening gowns and active wear, give a personal thought and answer an on stage question at the pageant. McKenzie Lundell, Miss Juab County 2006, will crown the new royalty. It will be a night filled with lots of talent and entertainment as we bring in this year’s county fair. The public is invited to attend, free of charge.
The new 2007 royalty will reign over the fair week festivities, August 7-11.
