  • Miss Juab County Scholarship Pageant August 8th


 

The Juab County Fair will host the Miss Juab County Scholarship Pageant on Monday, August 8, when the new Miss Juab County 2005 will be crowned. The pageant will be held in the Junior High School Auditorium at 7:00 p.m.

Five contestants will vie for the title. Chelsea Park, daughter of Kent and Diane Park, will perform ballroom dance. Malaree Park, daughter of Marlin and Denise Park, will perform a piano solo. Laura Gould, daughter of Mike and Gina Gould, will present her visual art talent. Jodie Wankier, daughter of Joe and Leighann Wankier, will perform a jazz dance. Whitney Worwood, daughter of Jill Worwood and Skip and Danise Worwood, will perform a piano solo.

Monday evening they will perform their talent, model evening gowns and past era wear, give a personal thought and answer an on-stage question. The 2004 Miss Juab County Royalty will crown the new royalty. Lynley Peterson, Miss Juab County 2004 along with Juab County Fair Vice President, Jamison McPherson will be the Master and Mistress of Ceremonies. It will be a night filled with lots of talent and entertainment as we bring in this year's county fair. The public is invited to attend, free of charge.

The new 2005 royalty will reign over the fair week festivities, August 9-13th. Miss Juab County will represent the county at the Miss Utah State Fair Pageant in Salt Lake City in September.
