Relay for Life is an 18-hour relay event to raise funds
to fight cancer and raise awareness of cancer in our
communities. It is an 18-hour celebration of life honoring
cancer survivors.
While the relay is going on, a community celebration for
money raised is created by team members camping out,
enjoying entertainment, food, games and camarderie. The
schedule of events will be as follows:
Friday, August 5
Noon to 5 p.m.&emdash;Team set up
4:00-6:00 p.m.&emdash;Team registration
6:00 p.m.&emdash;Welcome George and Connie Morgan,
MCs.
Opening Prayer&emdash;Glenn Greenhalgh
Flag Ceremony conducted by Boy Scouts of America
National Anthem by Lynette Harmon and daughters Chantell
and Sarah
Welcome by American Cancer Society Director, Lin
Brown
Remarks by Juab County Area Chair, Iris Tolley
Sponsor Recognition and Committee

7:00 p.m&emdash;Introduction of Survivors and
Presentation&emdash;Donna South

11:00 p.m.&emdash;Snack for all team

Saturday, August 6
6:00 a.m.&emdash;Morning wake up
6:30 a.m.&emdash;Breakfast served by Nephi Lion's
Club. Donated by Mt. Nebo Market.
9:00 a.m.&emdash;Awards Presentation: Best Camp,
Best Cancer Theme, Team that raised the most money
10:00 a.m.&emdash;Drawings by all teams
11:00 a.m.-noon&emdash; Final lap with all team
members participating.
Lumanaries can be purchased at the Copy Cabin in Nephi to
remember loved ones.
