Susan “Suzy” Broadhead
1946-2008
Susan Broadhead, age 61, passed away unexpectedly at her home in Nephi July 2, 2008.
She was born November 12, 1946 in Payson, Utah, to Rulon Nile and Amy Irene Haycock Broadhead.
She grew up in Nephi and graduated from Juab High School. Suzy graduated from Snow College and Brigham Young University. She was an active member of the LDS church, serving in many callings. She served a genealogical mission for the church in England.
She is survived by her siblings, Merrill J. Broadhead; Janice B. Mortensen; Niles R. Broadhead; Kathy Broadhead; many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by her parents and grandparents.
Graveside services were held at 12 noon, Monday, July 7, 2008, in Vine Bluff Cemetery, Nephi, Utah.
Carl Craig
1945-2008
Carl Craig, age 63, passed away July 6, 2008 in Orem, Utah.
He was born February 9, 1945 in Santaquin, Utah, to Wayne and Beth Carter Craig. He married Janet Sue Kay August 17, 1968 in Mona, Utah.
Carl was an operating engineer for 28 years. He served in Korea from 1965-1967 in the Army as a tank crewman. Carl spent his last years working with wood and spending time with his grandchildren, whom he loved so much.
Survived by his wife Janet K. Craig of Mona; sons, Lonnie (Callie) Craig of Eagle Mountain; Brandon (Shaylyn) Craig of Nephi; grandchildren, Tyler, Taleena, Allison, Kelbie, Shad, and Katelyn; mother-in-law, Mabel Kay of Mona; Brother, DeVerl (Ann) Craig of St. George; sister, Carma Davis of Payson; sister-in-law, Connie B. Craig. Preceded in death by his parents, Wayne and Beth Craig; brother, Jerald Craig; sister, Michelle Craig.
Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, July 10, 2008 in the Mona City Cemetery. Friends may call Wednesday evening from 6-8 p.m. at the Anderson Funeral Home, 94 West 300 North Nephi, UT.
