Mona City will hold its Pioneer Day Celebration Saturday, July 26th at the city park. The schedule is as follows:

• 7:00 a.m. Flag raising ceremony

• 7:15-9:00 a.m. Breakfast, Mona 1st Ward Scouts, $3.50 Adults, $2.50 Kids

• 9:00 a.m. to dark Craft booths $25.00 for a space

• 9:00 a.m. DUP store opens

• 10:00 a.m. Parade begins, bathing beauties will be in the 10 a.m. parade. Will be judged on most patriotic, most original and the best pioneer floats.

• 11:00 a.m. Variety program

• 11:30 a.m. Snack stand opens and raffle begins

• 12:00 noon -3:00 p.m. Rides and games

• 3:00 p.m. Watermelon eating contest

• 3:30 p.m. Kids races (0-12 ages)

• 4:00 p.m. Softball game and drawing for the big prizes

• 5:30 -7:00 p.m. Dinner: roasted pork, mashed potatoes and gravy, vegetable, green salad and dessert. $5.00 a plate.

• Fireworks at dark.
