James H. Dolan
1938~2013
James Harry Dolan, age 74, passed away April 10, 2013 in Provo, Utah.
He was born August 21, 1938 in Boise, Idaho to Harry LeRoy and Margaret Marie Stivers Dolan. He married Melanie Monroe December 7, 1984 in Bountiful, Utah. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Manti Temple March 26, 1988.
He was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, serving in many callings. He served in the US Navy. He made his living driving truck. He loved meeting new people and seeing the country.
He is survived by his wife, Melanie; children, Vicki (Ron) Coltrin; Rick (Chris) Dolan; Teri (Dennis) O'Connor; LeAnn (Sean) Lenaghen; Ashley (Chad) Jenkins; Erika (Jared) Johnson; James M. Dolan; Laura M. Dolan; 19 grandchildren and 23 great grandchildren; siblings, Tom, Ruth, William, Louis, Sidney, Shary, Rose, David, Harvey, and Dennis. Preceded in death by a son, Doug.
Funeral services were held at 11 am Monday, April 15, 2015 in Nephi 8th Ward, 222 S 100 E. A viewing was held Sunday evening from 6-8 pm at the Anderson Funeral Home, 94 W 300 S and one hour prior to the services at the church. Interment will be in the Scipio Cemetery at 3:30 pm. |
