WHAT ARE WE GOING TO DRINK THIS SUMMER • The weatherman says that we will have fair skies and 50 degree temperatures for the next 10 days or so as a high pressure settles in over the Great Basin pushing all storms to the north. This photo taken on Monday, just below Ponderosa Campground, shows how little runoff there is right now, and the area around the creek is devoid of snow. I guess it’s time to do our snow dance and see if we can drum up a little snow action.
BACK ON TOP • The JHS Provita nabbed the Region 14 drill team title after a two-year hiatus. Their last region title came in 2015. They beat out Union who placed 2nd overall and Delta who placed 3rd. The team swept the 1st place spot in military, dance and character categories. They will compete at state at UVU on February 2-3. Story on page 6.
