REGION 14 CHAMPIONS • JHS ProVita swept the region competition.
The Juab High School ProVita swept the Region 14 Drill Team Competition taking 1st place in all three categorizes, Military, Dance and Prop. Makenzie Benson also placed 3rd in the Region 14 Individual Drill Down Competition. Juab has won the region title numerous times, this being the 5th Straight title.
Karlie Feaman, KayCee Tomadakis, Danielle Shaw, Karissa Carter were selected to the All Region Drill Team. Receiving Coaches recognition for their academic achievements (having a 3.5 accumulative GPA or higher) were: Kellie Jo Farr, Katelyn Gledhill, Danielle Shaw, Karly Worwood, Karissa Carter, Camie Jacobsen, Morgan Linton, Madison Finch, Kelsie Sutherland, Kylie Tishchner, Cassie Davis, Ariel Gee, Karlie Feaman, Talysha Young, Amber Stewart.
Being selected to the Region 14 Academic All-Region were: Talysha Young and Amber Stewart.
Members of the 2009 JHS ProViya are: Sabrie Cowan, Cathie Messersmith, Amber Stewart, Karlie Feaman, Talysha Young, Karissa Carter, Katelyn Gledhill, Kellie Jo Farr, Karly Worwood, Danielle Shaw, Ariel Gee, Haley Osburn, Makenzie Benson, Audrey Motes, Jaden Jackson, Madison Finch, KayCee Tomadakis, Camie Jacobsen, Kelsie Sutherland, Ashley Adams, Morgan Linton, Heather Morgan, Talesha Bowles, Cassie Davis, Kylie Tischner. The team is coached by Lisa Blackett and Marci Rasch. Team Manager is Allison Wentz.
The drill team will move on to the State 2A Competition which will be held Saturday Jan. 31 at the McKay Events Center at Utah Valley University in Orem with a start time of 9 a.m. Please come out and support the drill team.
