STORE CLOSING • Shopko Hometown Nephi is closing in the future according to these signs at the store on North Main Street. The store opened in October 2015. Shopko is closing 39 stores across the nation that includes four stores in Utah. The Utah stores are Delta, Nephi, Blanding and Beaver. All stores are scheduled to be closed by the end of February.
WINTER BALL ROYALTY 2018 • The JHS Winter Ball will be held on Saturday, December 15 at 8:00 pm. Doors open at 7:00 pm. The cost is $7.00 single, $10.00 couple, and $20.00 immediate family. The theme is “A Night Under the Stars.” This year’s royalty is, from left to right: 2nd court, Logan Squire and Rhiannon West; 1st court, Broc Crippen and Kylee Lynn; King and Queen, Parker Brough and Rose Oveson; 3rd court, Aiton McFarland and Jessica Willmore.
