She will be deeply missed by her parents, Matt and Aimee; sister, Mattie Rae; grandparents, Tom Goble and Mary Carol Goble, and Willis and Denece LeFevre; great-grandparents, Roland and Dorothy Hein; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, September 7, 2011, in the Nephi 8th Ward, 222 South 100 East. Family and friends may call at the church one hour prior to the services. Interment will be in Vine Bluff Cemeter, Nephi, Utah.

Ellen Rosquist
1954-2011

Clarcia Ellen Lewis Rosquist, a very much loved wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend, has been joyously welcomed home by her parents, Thomas Halver (Ike) and Varis Lurene Lewis and sister, Letha Barker, in their Heavenly home on September 3, 2011, after an extensive battle with cancer.
Her life began in Gallup, New Mexico, on January 30, 1954. She grew up in Ramah, New Mexico. She was the sixth of seven children. She had a deep love and appreciation for her family and always spoke very fondly of each of her sisters and many cousins and other family members.
Ellen graduated from Zuni High School in 1972. While attending college in Utah, she met and married Dale James Rosquist on July 21, 1973. They had six children. For many years she was entirely a mother, but she eventually went back to school and graduated from the University of New Mexico. Her family later moved to Levan, Utah, at which point she worked for Ash Grove Cement in Leamington for several years.
Our mother was strong-minded, consistent in her beliefs and loyal to her faith through the course of her life. She has always been an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Her deepest devotion was to her faith.
She was an inspiration to her husband and children as she battled cancer and the struggles that accompanied it. She showed matchless courage, determination and optimism in the face of adversity. Mom, we love you.
Ellen is survived by her husband, Dale Rosquist; children: Jaque' (Keith) Wallace, Jody (Shayne) Bean, Seth (Melania) Rosquist, CharLinda (Dave) Kyle, Burke (Marlana) Rosquist and Azel Rosquist, along with 18 grandchildren: Jagg, Kadesha, Nolan, Austin, Kyler, Jenna, Jhett, Errict, Jayya, Crash, Beau, Auraleigh, Chalk, Ayliahna, Kaes, Tehga, Leah and Breya. She is also survived by brothers: Larry and Elvin (Lisa) Lewis, brother-in-law, Monte (LuAnn) Barker and sisters: Beth (Perry) Merrill, Penny Roper and Elaine (Dennis) Simons.
There will not be a public viewing, but the family will be receiving friends and family at their home in Levan, Utah. Funeral services will be held at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Levan at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, September 10, 2011.
