Trevor Cowan
Michael Trevor Cowan, age 33, passed away at his home
Friday morning Sept. 20, 2002.
He was born May 14, 1969, in Payson, Utah, to Michael
Craig and Tonya Andersen Cowan.
Trevor graduated from Juab High School in 1987 where
he excelled in all sports. After graduation he attended
several colleges including the University of Utah. Trevor
was a successful real estate agent and currently worked with
Coldwell Banker West Realty in Utah County.
He leaves behind his parents; five brothers and two
sisters, Tyler (Diana) Cowan, Trent Cowan, Shay (Robbie)
Cowan, Tanner Cowan, Kayle Cowan, Tara (Chris) Wall, and
Sabrie Cowan; and grandmother, Donna Andersen. He was
preceded in death by grandparents, Bob Andersen, and Condie
and Dee Cowan.
Funeral services were held Sept. 24, 2002, in the
Nephi North Stake Center. Interment in Vine Bluff Cemetery,
Nephi, Utah.
Ray Lunt
Edward Raymond Lunt, age 91, died Monday Sept. 23, 2002,
in Nephi, Utah.
He was born Aug. 6, 1911, in Nephi to Shedrick Alanzo
and Ellen Maude Chapman Lunt. He married Florence Blackett
Oct. 17, 1934, in the Manti LDS Temple. She passed away
March 25, 1992.
He was a life-long resident of Nephi and was educated
in the Nephi schools where he participated in sports. He was
an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day
Saints. He worked for many years at the Wasatch Service
Station. He farmed most of his life. He enjoyed working with
animals, especially his cows and horses. He loved sports and
was good at them. He played baseball on the Nephi teams and
was a member of a bowling league in Nephi and Spanish Fork
for many years. He loved hunting and fishing.
Ray is survived by a daughter, Barbara (Sam) Lovell of
Nephi; a son, David Paul (Terrell) Lunt of Woodland Hills;
10 grandchildren; and 26 great-grandchildren; He was
preceded in death by two sons, Gordon Ray and an infant son;
a grandson, Dustin Ray Lovell; 3 brothers and 3 sisters.
Funeral services will be held at 12 noon, Thursday,
Sept. 26, 2002, in the Nephi 8th Ward, 222 South 100 East.
Friends may call from 6-8 p.m. at the Anderson Funeral Home,
94 West 300 North and at the church one hour prior to the
services. The interment will be in Vine Bluff Cemetery
Nephi, Utah.
Robert Keith Judd
Robert Keith Judd, age 68, passed away Sept. 20, 2002
in Lake Tahoe, California.
He was born Sept. 14, 1934 in Nephi, Utah to Robert L.
and Bernice Blackett Judd.
Survived by his wife Janet Judd; children, Lori, Karen
and Steven; 10 grandchildren.
Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday,
Sept. 26, 2002 at the Vine Bluff Cemetery Nephi, Utah.
Keith Searle
On Monday, Sept. 16, 2002, Keith Lee Searle, age 70,
passed away at his home in Levan, Utah. He was born Nov. 8,
1931, in Lapoint, Utah, to Archie Delos and Alice Leona
Caldwell Searle. He married Mary Ann Lundy on May 21, 1954,
in Adak, Alaska
He served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War.
While enlisted he participated as a featherweight golden
gloves boxer. Keith loved the mountains and the outdoors. He
was a rancher and sheepherder. He also worked as a rodeo
hand for Slash-C Rodeo, Co. and Cottan Rawson. He enjoyed
doing leatherwork and tooling.
Keith is survived by his wife, Mary Ann; two sons and
a daughter, Tim Lee (Jill) Searle of Levan, Kathy S. (Larry)
Simons of Benjamin, Dick Lee (Mindy) Searle of Levan; 13
grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren; 2 brothers and a
sister, Ronald Searle of Colorado, Brice (Jeanette) Searle
of Brigham City, Lorna S. (Gene) Daniels of Arizona. He was
preceded in death by a son, Arthur Dee Searle and his
parents.
Graveside services with military honors by the Spanish
Fork American Legion were held Sept. 21, 2002, at the
Benjamin Cemetery.
