  • MIss Juab County Scholarship Pageant will be held August 3rd

The Juab County Fair will host the Miss Juab County Scholarship Pageant on Monday, August 3 where the new Miss Juab County 2015 will be crowned. The pageant will be held in the Jr. High School Auditorium at 7:00 p.m.
Seven contestants will vie for the title.
Jennifer Gibson is the daughter of Jason and Angi Gibson of Nephi. Jennifer will perform a vocal piece by Elton John for her talent. Jennifer plans on attending MATC Cosmetology program in the fall.
Shaylee Stoneman is the daughter of Lee and Jessica Stoneman of Nephi. Shaylee will perform a Cheer/Dance routine for her talent. Shaylee plans on attending Snow College and Utah State University to major in Education.
Alyssa Cowan is the daughter of Chad and Stephanie Cowan of Nephi. Alyssa will perform a Lyrical Dance Solo for her talent. Alyssa is the Dance Sterling Scholar for JHS and plans on attending Snow College after graduation to obtain a degree as a Neonatal Nurse.
Erika Stanley is the daughter of Kyle and Amy Stanley of Mona. Erika will be showing a video of Equestrian Vaulting. Erika plans to attend USU and graduate with a MBA.
Mckenzie McPherson is the daughter of Jamison and Stacy McPherson of Nephi. Mckenzie will perform a piano solo of Colorado River Rafting for her talent. She plans on attending MATC Cosmetology program this fall and Utah State University to become an Ag. Teacher.
KaDi McKeachnie is the daughter of Brett and Carry McKeachnie of Mona. KaDi will perform a Vocal/Guitar Solo. KaDi plans on attending Utah Valley University after graduating high school to pursue a degree in Vocal Performance and Vocal Education.
Emma Brooks is the daughter of Stony and Stacy Brooks of Levan. Emma will perform a Violin Solo for her talent. Emma plans on attending college and pursue a career in either Sports Medicine, Nutrition, or Physical Therapy.
The contestants will perform their Talent, model Evening Gowns and "Roll out the Red Carpet" spotlight, and will answer an on stage question at the pageant. Jessika Kenison , Miss Juab County 2014, and her attendants, Makelle Wright and Shamri Wright will crown the new royalty.
It will be a night filled with lots of talent and entertainment as we begin the 2015 Juab County Fair week. The public is invited to attend, free of charge.
