Entries invited for the Ute Stampede parades Pre-registration is being accepted for participation in the Ute Stampede Western Parade, Ute Stampede Mammoth Parade and the Ute Stampede Bathing Beauty Parade. The Western Parade will take place on Thursday, July 12, at 6:30 p.m. beginning at the Nephi City Park. Entries will be judged and trophies awarded to each category, except for royalty. Numbers can be picked up beginning at 4:00 p.m. at one of the boweries on the south side of the city park, 450 North Main. To register, or for more information, call Vernice Winn at 623-1363, Terrie at 660-1571 or Brad at 623-8251. The Mammoth Parade will begin at 4:00 p.m. Numbers can be picked up at Nephi City Park. The parade will proceed south on Main Street and end at 500 South. To register, or for more information, call Glenn Greenhalgh at 623-3400. Pre-registration is required. The Bathing Beauty Parade will be held on Saturday starting at 4 p.m. at 500 South and proceed north to the City Park, where judging is held.
