FIREWORKS • Plan on attending the 4th of July Carnival next Monday at the Nephi City park. There will plenty of things for all ages. Fireworks are planned for the Juab Football field starting at dusk. Above, the sky was aglow with fireworks last year.
Fourth of July festivities will be held on Monday, July 4 at the Nephi City Park. The day's schedule is as follows:
• 6:30-10:00 a.m.—Breakfast
• 7:00 a.m.—Registration for 3 on 3 basketball tournament; games begin at 8:00 am; $10 per player, 3-4 players per team
• 9:00 a.m.—Prayer and Flag Raising Ceremony
• 9:15 .M.—Country Store Opens and Carnival games begin
• 10:00 a.m.—Quilt auction begins
• 11:00-3:00—Hamburger stand opens
• 11:00 a.m.—Registration for dodgeball tournament; $30 per team of 6 players; 12 and under, 13-16, 17 and up age divisions
• 11:30-12:15—Talent show, Act 1
• 12:00—Dodgeball tournament begins; scones and watermelon available
• 12:30—Live auction begins
• 2:30 —Talent show, Act 2

Nephi City and the Nephi City Fire Department will set off fireworks (weather and other conditions permitting) at dusk at the JHS football field.
