  • What's going on in Nephi City this summer?


OPEN FOR THE SEASON • The Nephi City Swimming Pool and Splash Pad is now open to people of all ages. Hours are Monday-Saturday, 1:00-7:00 p.m. and lap swim is 6:00-8:00 a.m. Come in and keep cool during the hot summer months. Above, this young lady had all the moves on Monday. We just hope she landed ok!

It's the summer vacation season, and if you don't have any plans to get away, how about stay put and take part in some fun activities?
Nephi Swimming Pool and Splash Pad
The Nephi City Swimming Pool is now open. Come and join in the fun and enjoy the big pool or the Splash Pad. Swimming lessons are available for all ages and levels. Rent the pool for a birthday party, special event or a family get-together. The pool is open Monday through Saturday, 1:00-7:00 p.m. Lap swim is Monday through Saturday, 6:00-8:00 a.m. Closed Sundays. Single admission will be $4.00 per person. 10-Punch cards can be purchased for $30. 1 child under three will be admitted free when accompanied by an adult and when wearing a swim diaper and plastic cover. $1.00 admission for additional children under 3 when accompanied by the same adult. Canyon Hills Golf Course
An easy course to get on with a very relaxing atmosphere and stunning view of Mount Nebo, Canyon Hills Golf Course is known to have the best greens in the state. It is a traditional-style, municipal course with 9 holes, par 36, and relaxed dress code (denim is allowed). Amenities include rental carts, rental clubs, pull carts, driving range, putting green, full service pro shop, and a snack bar. The course is open dawn to dusk all week from March 1 through December 1 depending on weather. One-time fees apply or punch passes may be purchased; tee times must be made one day in advance. Daughters of Utah Pioneers Museum
In the old county courthouse at Main Street at Center is the Daughters of the Utah Pioneers Museum. It is run by the International Society Daughters of the Utah Pioneers, a society "dedicated to perpetuating the names and achievements of those men, women, and children who founded Utah." They seek to preserve historic landmarks and educate thousands of school children and citizens about their pioneer ancestors. The museum includes many artifacts specifically from the early years of Mormon settlement in Nephi, including rustic pioneer furniture, timeless photos of the dedicated men and women who sacrificed so much to create our community, and other exhibits and displays illustrating the way of life of Nephi's founders. Nephi City Recreation
There are many recreational sports leagues for your children to get involved in. There are also activities for the whole family to take part in. Some of the upcoming events include Youth Fit Passport, Summer in the Park, Movies in the Park, Canyon View Lights Dedication, Biathlon and 5K, Kids Triathlon, Jimmerosity Jam 3 on 3 Tournament, and more.
