3A STATE TRACK AND FIELD CHAMPS • The JHS girl’s track team ran away from the competition and won the 3A state title on May 18-19 at BYU. It has been twenty years since the team last won a state title. They edged out 2nd place finisher Delta (89.5) with a team total of 107.6. The team is coached by Ron Marelli. Story on page 14.
