LaVell  W. Bryan
1933-2008


LaVell Wankier Bryan recently lost a brief battle with lung cancer on May 22, 2008, at the age of 75. She was surrounded by her family.
LaVell  was born and raised in Levan, Utah, on February 11, 1933. She was the sixth of eight children, and enjoyed playing baseball with her brothers. She acquired a love of housework and learned a strong work ethic from her parents growing up on their farm.
She married John Hamilton Bryan September 8, 1954 in Levan, Utah. Together they raised four children.  She was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Her family was always her top priority. She loved family get-togethers, and always brought her famous potato salad. She never forgot anybody’s birthday, and was always sure to send a card.
Her interests included a life-long love of crocheting and crafting porcelain dolls. She loved to read and had an extensive collection of nutcrackers, mugs, and pigs of all descriptions. She also had a great passion for gardening and loved roses.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, John Hamilton Bryan; her parents, Joseph A. Wankier and Carrie Anderson Wankier; and siblings, Clem Wankier, Udell Wankier, Leo Wankier, Mary Jo Wankier Marshall.
LaVell is survived by her four children, Kara (Gary) Allred, Barbara (Kevin) Dallon, John (Elana) Bryan, and Chad (Jeanette) Bryan; her grandchildren, Tanya (Jeff) Doran, Justin J. Irvine, Jeremy R. Allred, Kirstie R. Bryan, Jhon R. Bryan, Bent J. Bryan, Joshua J. Dallon,  Jill A. Dallon, Vanessa M. Taylor and Austin M. Taylor; and four great-grandchildren. She is also survived by three brothers, Marion, Carl, and Francis.
Funeral services were held on Tuesday, May 27, 2008 at 1:00 p.m. at the Brigham City 24th Ward Chapel, 650 Anderson Dr., Brigham City.
Following the funeral services, LaVell was interned beside her husband at Brigham City Cemetery.

Jon Seely
1971-2008


In loving memory of Jon David Seely, born June 12, 1971 in Mt. Pleasant, Utah, to Robert (Bob) and Thelma Ann Fowles Seely. Jon left this earthly existence on May 20, 2008.
Jon was a loving father, son, brother, uncle and friend. His greatest loves in life were his children and family. For 12 years Jon worked in Phoenix, Arizona, at EMR Corp. as a design/sales associate and was currently employed in Orem, Utah, at Pinnacle Security. He enjoyed fishing, camping and watching gross, scary movies with his nephews and nieces.
Jon is survived by his son, Braeden Grae, step-children, Adrianna, Jacob and Taylor; parents, Bob and Thelma, Nephi, UT; brothers and sisters, Patti (Ron) Sorensen and boys, Mt. Pleasant, UT; Tom (Kimberly) Seely, Nephi, UT; Mike (Karen) Seely and girls, Riverside, CA; Christine Seely, Nephi, UT; Mary (Dave) Brown, Provo, UT; niece and nephews, Kandace, Morgan, Tyler and Jack; grandmothers, Jo-Ell Breinholt, Fairview, UT; Sharon Fowles, Mt. Pleasant, UT.
Preceded in death by daughters, Jamie Brianne (Mage) and Kelli Mistaya (Misty) Seely; Big Brother, Robert James (Jim) Seely.
A Funeral Service was held on Tuesday, May 27, 2008 at 1:00 p.m. in the Nephi 7th ward LDS chapel, located at 351 North 100 West in Nephi, UT. A viewing was held prior to the funeral services in the Nephi 7th ward LDS church from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Interment will be in the Fairview City Cemetery.
