THE SPRINKLERS HAVE IT! • The water that is and after a rather dry spring, the weatherman is calling for thundershowers for our area throughout the weekend. While the irrigated crops are green, the cheat grass and Junipers are already dry and the state fire marshal says the fire season is going to be early and long. He is asking all who enjoy the wide open spaces of our state to be very careful with fire to avoid the costly fires of last year when much of the west burned.
