OLD HIGHWAY 91 • Just a country road
today, but not too long ago this stretch of road North
of Nephi carried all traffic to Southern Utah, Las
Vegas and LA. Today the prospect of additional traffic
from a proposed gasoline loading platform has those
who live along this road up in arms even though that
traffic is already here today, just a 1/2 mile east on
Interstate 15. What's your opinion. Attend a meeting
on Thursday night at the Juab High School and let your
views be known.
CLEAN UP • Nephi City's Spring cleanup will
begin Tuesday, May 16. Items to be hauled away should
be placed in piles along the edge of the street no
later than 8:00 a.m. on Tuesday. Residents are
reminded to keep piles away from
obstacles&emdash;utility poles, fences, buildings,
vehicles, etc. Heavy equipment must have easy access
in order to remove debris. Limbs must be placed in
separate piles from other debris. Contractors doing
construction or demolition are not allowed to place
material on public property, but are responsible for
its removal to an authorized dump site.
