Keith E. Carter
1937~2014
Keith Elmer Carter, a loving husband, brother, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, quietly passed away in his Levan, Utah home February 2, 2014.
Keith was born October 31, 1937 in Levan, to Gerald Holman and Zella Stephensen Carter. He was the fourth of nine kids. Much of his teen years were spent on the desert or at Soldier Summit with the sheep herd. In 1957 he married Mary Ellen Krebs and together they raised four boys. As an adult, he traveled the west working construction as a member of the Operating Engineers. After retiring, Keith enjoyed hunting, tinkering around the yard or garden, and spending time with his grandkids.
Keith is survived by his wife Mary Ellen and four boys Kenneth (Bridget) Carter, Curtis (Debbie) Carter, Corey (Tiffany) Carter, Kyle (Edris) Carter, as well as many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
A funeral will be held in Keith's honor at the Levan church at 11:00 a.m. Friday, February 7, 2014. Family and friends may call one hour prior to the services at the church. Interment will be in the Levan Cemetery.
Dad, we could not have asked for a better father. You are going to be greatly missed.
