Dennis Rex Steele
June 20, 1946 - January 26, 2015

Dennis Rex Steele, born June 20, 1946, to Dellwin and Dorethea Steele in Nephi, Utah, passed away peacefully in his home, on January 26, 2015, after courageously battling a terminal lung disease. He was surrounded by his sweet wife and loving family.
Denny taught us all many great lessons and was an example to everyone. He had a love for music, and served many people through his wonderful talents. Denny had a passion for the outdoors.
He loved to teach his children and grandchildren how to hunt, fish, and trap. He enjoyed going camping with his family, and singing around the campfire. He had a sense of humor that always kept us laughing. He also had a passion for collecting rocks. He loved to share this passion with his whole family. He was such a great friend, and would do anything for anyone. He always had a positive attitude no matter what he was going through. He was always a hard worker in every aspect of life. He was so Christlike and his happiness shined throughout many lives. He loved to make people happy, especially his family. He taught us from the start that family is the greatest blessing we can receive here on earth. He supported every one of his grandchildren in everything they did. He raised his children so well, and did this side by side with his best friend, Linda. They had a love that was undeniable. They were sealed in the Manti Temple for Time and all Eternity. Their love shined bright throughout their whole lives, and they were a great example to us of what love should be. He gave his all to her and did absolutely everything with her. He loved her so much, they were the best of friends and were always by each other's side. He showed us how to love, how to live, and how to be a good father, husband, brother, and grandpa. He is loved by so many. His family loves him more than words can describe. He is our rock, he is our role model, and most of all, he is our hero.
Survived by his wife and best friend, Linda, his children, Rod (Tricia), Randy (Amie), Rachelle (Craig), Radona (Garrison) his siblings, and his 14 grandchildren.

Sharon maintained a wonderful and supportive home for the family as Dave was active in his numerous business ventures and political activities. Her fun personality and many talents enriched everyone. For several years she enjoyed serving as the Information Officer for the Utah State House of Representatives in the annual legislative sessions.
She spent her life in the service of others; caring for their spiritual and physical needs.
