He was born July 6, 1925 in Providence, Utah to Samuel Christian and Ruth Woolford Spring. He was the third of six children.  After high school he enlisted in the Navy to serve our country during WWII. They were married in the Logan LDS Temple February 20, 1945. They would have been married 67 years in February. Together they have five children. He was a lifelong faithful member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and served as bishop, high council member, and a temple ordinance worker in the Manti Temple. After retiring, he moved to Levan, Utah where he was a valuable community member, serving on the Levan town council, working as a town water master, organizing and starting the Levan Town Fire Department, and restoring the Old Juab County Jail for the DUP Museum, just to name a few. Landon was born May 15, 1983 to proud parents, Fred and Judy Cundy.  He married his wonderful soul mate, Alyssa Sperry, on June 23, 2007.
Landon worked at Discovery Ranch where he loved helping troubled youth.  He spent many, many hours dedicated to helping them and he loved to watch them grow.   He recently completed his Real Estate License and aspired to be a real estate agent like his Mom.
He loved to play golf with his co-workers and his younger brother.  He enjoyed watching any sporting event and loved talking sports with friends and family.  He was a big fan of the Utah Jazz and the Minnesota Vikings.  He loved hanging out with family and friends more than anything and loved Sunday family dinners.  He also loved his dog Tank so much.
Landon had a big tender heart and showed love to everyone.  He was very compassionate and loved to help everyone.  He loved to make people laugh and loved to have a good time.  He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
