Even the darkest day

Is brightened by your smile

Your witty laugh

Your gorgeous eyes

And presence all the while

I am happy so little

Until I am near you

You make me laugh

Until I cry

It's joy I never knew

I dread the time

That we will part

I've treasured the fun

And the freedom

From the very start

Never an enemy

But always a friend

Our friendship

Is a circle

It will never end.
