Found by University of Utah Paleontologist Scott Sampson, Masiakasaurus knopfleri was a breakthrough discovery. Found in Madagascar, this carnivore has a strange lower jaw that has teeth jutting straight out of it. Named after Mark Knopfler from the band Dire Straits, this was an important find for the University of Utah.
