BEAUTY OF THE COLD • The cold weather has formed some "flowers of ice" at the flood control dam at Jenkins Flat in Salt Creek Canyon as the cold and snow of December arrives. The weather man is calling for highs in the 20's and 30's and lows just above 0' for the next week. Time to get out the "Long Johns" and stay inside as much as possible as Winter formally arrives just two short weeks from today.
