Randy Sundquist

Randy Neil Sundquist, age 46, passed away Nov. 26, 2003 at his home in Richfield, Utah, from complications of malignant melanoma. Randy was born on June 24, 1957 in Provo, Utah, to Lloyd and Barbara Brown Sundquist.

Randy was a member of the Richfield 1st Ward. He attended BYU where he received a B.S. degree in Economics and attended Florida State where he received a master degree in statistical analysis. He worked in Richfield as a mortgage officer with Legacy Mortgage.

He is survived by his parents of Nephi; brothers; Victor (Stephanie) Sundquist of West Jordan, Norman (Veronica) Sundquist of Nephi, and Philip (JoAnn) Sundquist of Harker Heights, Texas; sisters, Debhora (Edwin) DeLong of Cedar City, Kelly Peterson of St. George, and Bonnie (Brent) Bourgeous of Syracuse.

Funeral services were held Nov. 29, 2003 in the Richfield 1st LDS Ward Chapel.


Pauline Ricks

Pauline Cora Vander Werff Ricks passed away Nov. 29, 2003 in Nephi, Utah.

She was born July 21, 1936 in Salt Lake City, Utah, to Dowie Johannes and Apolonia Versteeg Vander Werff. She married Allen Ray Ricks Feb. 6, 1953. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple June 30, 1954.

She served as an ordinance worker in the Jordan River and Manti Temples, many years as Primary, Relief Society Leader and various other callings. Community volunteer as school children's advocate, FACT team and Juab County extension board. She worked in the medical field for 30 years. She loved music and camping.

She is survived by her husband, Allen Ricks; eight children, Dale (Robbie), Dean (Vickie), Yvonne (Ken) Petty, Glen, Gary (Amy), Pam, Kim (Glenn) Johnson, Kelly (Amy); 37 grandchildren; and 7 great-grandchildren; brothers and sisters, Wilma Wells, Dowena (Floyd) Devey, Betty (Richard) James. She was preceded in death by brother, Fred Vander Werff.

Funeral services will be held at 12 noon, Thursday, Dec. 4, 2003 in the Mona LDS Church. Friends may call Wednesday evening from 6-8 p.m. at the Anderson Funeral Home, 94 West 300 North Nephi, and at the church from 10:30-11:45 a.m. prior to the services. Interment in the Mona Cemetery.
