ORDINANCE NO.12-3-2001-A AN ORDINANCE REPEALING THE JUAB
COUNTY SUBDIVISION ORDINANCE AND ADOPTING A REVISED AND
CORRECTED JUAB COUNTY SUBDIVISION ORDINANCE WHEREAS, as a
result of increased interest and pressure and a
determination that the Juab County Subdivision Ordinance
needed to be revised, Juab County requested that the
Planning Commission revise the Juab County Subdivision
Ordinance concerning specific district regulations, time
limits for approvals, and other minor corrections.
WHEREAS, the planning commission has prepared a revised
subdivision ordinance, has held the required public
hearing after the required notice, and recommended the
revised ordinance favorably to the Juab County
Commission; and WHEREAS, the Board of County
Commissioners has received said favorable recommendation
for adoption of the revised subdivision ordinance from
the Juab County Planning Commission in compliance with
the requirements of state law; and WHEREAS, the Board of
County Commissioners have held all necessary public
hearings, after appropriate notice and has determined
that it is in the best interest of Juab County and the
health, safety and general welfare of its citizens to
adopt this revised Juab County Subdivision Ordinance;
NOW, THEREFORE, the County Legislative Body of the County
of Juab, the State of Utah ordains as follows:Section 1.
The Juab County Subdivision Ordinance, Title 12, Chapter
2 of the Juab County Book of Ordinances is hereby
repealed in its entirety. This repeal shall be effective
30 days after publication. Further, the proposed
subdivision ordinance, incorporating the revisions and
corrections approved by both the Juab County Planning
Commission and the Board of County Commissioners, is
hereby adopted as the Juab County Subdivision Ordinance
and incorporated in the Juab County Book of Ordinances as
Title 12, Chapter 2. Section 2. The Juab County
Subdivision Ordinance, now consisting of a total of 38
pages which has been published as a code in book form,
three copies of which have been filed for use and
examination by the public in the office of the clerk of
Juab County, Utah, is hereby adopted by the Juab County
Commission as the Juab County Subdivision Ordinance, as
if fully and completely set out in this ordinance.
Section 3. This Ordinance shall take effect 30 days after
