Carl was born on October 14, 1957 in Nephi, Utah to James Lawrence and Florine Taylor Higginson. Carl graduated from Juab High School and later Utah Technical College in Provo, Utah. He married his best friend, Lynn Higginson on November 15, 1990. He owned and operated the successful business, Mechanical Control Service, Inc for 20 years. He was well liked, highly trusted and sought after due to his knowledge and expertise in his field. Carl loved his family and he was extremely proud of his 6 children and 12 grandchildren and their accomplishments. His happiest moments were spent at home surrounded by family. He was often found outside working on one of many projects or in his meticulous yard. He loved being outdoors. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and being on the mountain. He spent countless hours coaching baseball, basketball and football. Although Carl was often quiet and calm in demeanor, he will also be remembered for his quick wit and great sense of humor and the many laughs he shared with family and friends. He was always prepared with a joke or two. Chances are that if he knew you, he had given you a silly nickname. He was always giving of his time and willing to lend a helping hand to anyone who needed it. He could fix anything! We love you, Dad. You will be deeply missed and forever in our hearts. 'Til we meet again. The Higginson family would like to thank friends, neighbors, EMT's and the Sevier Valley Medical Center staff.
