William Jamieson, Jr.
1919-2012

William Henry Jamieson, Jr. passed away November 20, 2012, at the age of 93, in Levan, Utah of natural causes.
He was born June 8, 1919 in Oakland, California to William Henry Jamieson, Sr. and Dorothy Elvira Hodge. He was raised in California and lived in various cities there, including San Francisco, Long Beach, Riverside, and Indio. He married Gloria Jeanne Langenbach on February 19, 1943 in Long Beach, CA. They were happily married for almost 70 years.
He worked for many years at Kaiser Steel in Fontana, CA. He was also a court transcriber. For the last 31 years he has been retired and enjoyed traveling and overseeing campgrounds as the campground host for over 20 years. Five and a half years ago he moved to Nephi to be near his daughter, and he thoroughly enjoyed living here. Eight months ago, he and Gloria moved from their duplex in Nephi to the Victorian House in Levan.
He loved spending time with his family. He had four children: William Alan Jamieson (Maggie), Ken Jamieson (deceased), Mary Jamieson of Grants Pass, OR, and Kathy Hart (Steve) of Nephi. He had 15 grandchildren and 28 great-grandchildren.
He was friendly to everyone he met and always liked striking up a conversation with people. He was kind and thoughtful, and a happy and positive person to be around. Even in his declining health, he never complained. His grandchildren lovingly called him "Papa" and always looked forward to when they'd come visit him. He will be greatly missed.
Our family would like to thank Dr. Rasmussen, Amberlee Worwood and Kaye Mitchell, Hospice, and all the staff at the Victorian House for the excellent and loving care they gave to him during his stay there.
There will be no services.

He loved being a mason and teaching the tricks of the trade.  He was proud of his work and would point out buildings to his kids that he worked on years ago that were still standing tall and strong.
Earl married Carol Ann Perez on December 29, 1979. He and Carol were divorced in 1999. Earl married Wanda Wilcox on November 11, 2001.
Earl is survived by his wife Wanda, his sister Mary Ann, his sister-in-law Shirlee Morris, and his children who he loved and was so proud of, Brian Fashion, Tony Fashion (Cassie), Lisa Walker (Geoff),  Jeffery Wold, Anna Wold, and his 15 grandchildren. Earl is also survived by his step-children Victoria Shorts and Charli Larson.
Earl was preceded in death by his father, Armand Fashion, his mother, Mary Ann Morris, his step-father, Earl Morris, his brothers Bob, Bill, and Mike Fashion, and by his nephew, Jared.
Earl was a man with a big smile and a big heart, loved unconditionally by his children.
