WINTER GOLF? • We thought for a while that Garrett Brothers, above, was blowing the snow off the green so that some hardy golfers could get in a few holes, but he was just blowing it off so he can apply chemicals to reduce snow mold. Normally, it would have been applied before Thanksgiving but his supplier didn't send it in time. Black ball anyone?

A SIGHT WE THOUGHT WE WOULD NEVER SEE AGAIN • It sure looked high going up and now looks low coming down. It just proves that it all depends on where you have been. But with natural gas price on the increase, it is nice that we get a little reprieve on gasoline prices for awhile.
