Edith Virginia Anderson
She was born July 1, 1906 in Scipio, Utah, to Thomas
Whitham and Martha Ann Ivie Memmott. She married LaVar
Anderson July 1, 1926 in Ely, Nevada. Their marriage was
later solemnized in the Manti LDS Temple. He died Aug. 30,
1980.
She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of
Latter-day Saints and served in several organizations. She
was a member of the Daughters of the Utah Pioneers.
She is survived by her two sons, Norman L. (Ilene)
Anderson of Nephi, and Con M. (Janet) Anderson of Aurora; 13
grandchildren; 27great-grandchildren; and 6
great-great-grandchildren; a sister, Noreen Ashman. She was
preceded in death by one daughter, Claudine Dabling; one
son, Thomas Anderson; 3 sisters and 1 brother; two
grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Nov. 10, 2003 in the Nephi
5th Ward. Interment in Vine Bluff Cemetery, Nephi, Utah.
