Lillian Edwards
Lillian Jenetta Thomas Edwards, age 74, of Las Vegas,
Nevada, died Nov. 14, 2002, at Hospice Facility in Las
Vegas. She was born Jan. 6, 1928, in Lehi, Utah, to George
Ellis and Jenetta Checketts Thomas.
She attended school in Lehi. She worked at the
Hawthorne Naval Base. She served in many church services.
She loved to travel. She married Stanley D. Edwards on
Mar.21, 1947. Their marriage was solemnized in the Salt Lake
City LDS Temple in September 1952. They moved to Hawthorne,
Nevada, then to Provo, then to Levan.
She is survived by her 4 children, Lewis Edwards of
Salt Lake City, Alan (Annette) Edwards of Boise, Idaho,
Timothy (Sonya) Edwards of Reno, Nevada, and Jenetta (Carl)
Barbee of Las Vegas, Nevada; sister, LaVenna Thompson of
Nephi; 7 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; 2
step-grandsons; 4 step-great-grandchildren. She was preceded
in death by her husband, Stan, parents, 2 brothers, and 2
sisters.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, Nov. 23, 2002,
at 11:00 a.m. in the Nephi 1st Ward Church, 222 South 100
East. Viewing will be from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. Interment
will be in the Levan City Cemetery.
