Elizabeth Warner
Elizabeth Clayson Warner, age 82, passed away Nov. 24,
2000, in Nephi, Utah.
She was born Dec. 27, 1917, in Payson, Utah, to
William Ostler and Sarah Arminta McClellan Clayson. She
married James A. (Jay) Warner May 20, 1937, in the Manti LDS
Temple. He died Dec. 15, 1997.
She was a member of the LDS Church serving in the
Junior Sunday School, MIA, and served a 2-year mission with
her husband at the Bishop's Storehouse. She played flute and
piccolo in the Payson High School Band. She enjoyed crafts,
crocheting, and knitting.
She is survived by her children, Arma Dawn Kay of
Goshen, Mark C. (Linda) Warner of Bountiful, Clifton J.
(Beth) Warner of South Jordan, Rebecca (Mike) Vaughan of
West Valley City, and Blair N. (Marry Jane) of Payson; 23
grandchildren; and 34 great-grandchildren. She was preceded
in death by 5 brothers, 1 sister, a granddaughter, and a
great-granddaughter.
Funeral service were held Nov. 28, 2000, in the Nephi
LDS 1st Ward. Burial in Payson City Cemetery.
