A woman died on Aug.24 on Interstate 15.
Dead at the scene was the driver and only occupant,
Mitzie L. Rasmussen 45 years of age.
"The vehicle was traveling northbound on I-15 near
mile marker 227," said Hoby Metz, Utah Highway Patrol
Sgt.
He said the crash occurred at 11:45 a.m.
"The driver left road and traveled into the median,"
said Metz. "The vehicle overturned and came to rest in the
outside lane southbound on I-15."
No other vehicles involved.
"Rasmussen was wearing seat belt and was pinned in the
vehicle," said Metz.
He said Rasmussen died, shortly after the accident
occurred, of injuries sustained in the accident.
The vehicle was a 1995 White Jeep Cherokee.
