CONSTRUCTION AREA • In case you haven't
noticed, crews for the expansion of the Kern River
Pipe line are headquartered in Nephi for six
months. Above, this area east of I-15 and north of
the Juab County Jail is the staging area for the
crews. Each morning crews meet here and proceed to
the construction area west of Nephi. Nephi City has
passed a temporary ordinance allowing those with
trailers to stay in the RV parks longer than the 30
day period allowed by prior ordinance. The parks
will revert to the old ordinance when construction
is finished next year.
FALL COLORS EVERYWHERE • These trees over
Salt Creek at 100 South are all decked out in their
fall colors. The weather thru the weekend will be
partly cloudy with lows in the 40s and 30s. Get out
and enjoy the fall color as anyone who as lived
here for very long knows, the snow and the cold
rain always appear for Halloween.
