ORDINANCE NO. 10/15/02 TEMPORARY ORDINANCE REGARDING
RECREATIONAL VEHICLE PARKS Nephi City A Municipal
Corporation AN ORDINANCE WAIVING THE 30 DAY LIMITATION
FOUND IN ORDINANCE NUMBER 12-2411 (1)(b)(c). Section 1.
Preamble A. WHEREAS, Nephi City desires to promote the
public interest of Nephi City; and B. WHEREAS, there is a
project in and around Nephi for the Kern River Pipeline
requiring temporary housing for workers; and C. WHEREAS,
the Nephi City Council finds a compelling countervailing
public interest to provide such temporary housing; and D.
WHEREAS, Nephi City has the authority to adopt this
temporary ordinance pursuant to Utah Code Annotated
10-9-404, and hereby exercises its legislative powers in
doing so; Section 2. Ordaining Clause NOW THEREFORE, be
it ordained by Nephi City that the following temporary
ordinance be enacted. Section 3. Temporary Ordinance
Regarding Recreational Vehicle Parks The 30 day
limitation regarding the maximum length of stay in
recreational vehicle parks, set forth in Ordinance
12-2411 (l)(c) is waived until January 15, 2003, at which
time the 30 day limitation as stated in the present
ordinance is automatically reinstated in full force
without requiring any further action by the City Council.
